Episode Notes
Day 3 of the Strategist series — the close.
Over the last three days, we’ve looked at how you operate, where your natural strength can work against you, and what it takes to turn everything you know into something that actually gets into the world.
As a Strategist, thinking isn’t your problem.
Learning isn’t your problem.
Seeing connections isn’t your problem.
In fact, those are some of your greatest strengths.
You can read the books, listen to the podcasts, study the research, see connections other people miss, and build an incredibly sophisticated understanding of what’s happening.
The problem is the ratio.
How much are you consuming, processing, analyzing, and synthesizing compared to how much you’re actually shipping?
That’s the Strategist trap.
And that’s where the MorningCoach® system can make a real difference.
For more than twenty-one years, I’ve been developing and refining a practical morning operating system designed to help people get clear, establish their priorities, and move the things that actually matter.
At the center is the morning ritual, supported by the Daily CoachCast, the Daily Compass, the Sacred Six, the Get It Done - NOW! system, the Belt System, live interaction, planning tools, courses, and more than two decades of resources.
But for a Strategist, here’s what’s important:
You don’t need more information.
You need a valve.
Something that takes all of that thinking, learning, synthesis, and insight and forces some of it out into the world.
That’s what the daily cadence gives you.
You can consume eighty great ideas and ship four.
Or you can begin changing that ratio.
Not by becoming less curious.
Not by stopping your learning.
Not by becoming someone you’re not.
By creating a structure that asks you every morning:
What matters?
What am I moving?
What am I actually putting into the world?
Because your synthesis has value.
Your ideas have value.
The connections you’re making have value.
But only when somebody besides you can use them.
That’s what I want you to take away from these three days.
Don’t stop being the Strategist.
Build a structure that helps the Strategist ship.
Imagine what happens when twenty-one years of accumulated knowledge isn’t just sitting in notebooks, highlights, saved articles, and your head.
Imagine what happens when more of it starts becoming work that other people can actually see, use, experience, and benefit from.
That’s the opportunity in front of you.
Take a look below this audio. I’ve laid out the next step for you there.
You’ve done enough thinking about what you could do.
Now let’s get some of it into the world.
I’ll see you in the morning.
