Taking Back Your Time Episode 4263

Speaker 1: [00:00:09] Morning. And welcome to Morning Coach today. I am so glad you're with us. This is the place to start your day with energy 365 days of the year and learn some amazing things, have some fun and just just get ready to win the day. That's what we're doing. And this week, we've got a great one. We're really going a little bit into ILD this month as we start really rocking June, we're going to talk about career entrepreneurship, freedom this month. It's going to be a good one. You're going to want to make sure you check in as much as you can, because I'm going to be bringing it hard. And we've got some really cool things going on this week. We're going to be going over, taking back your time, starting off today, really getting into that understanding that I know the concept. Tomorrow we're going to get into the myth, revisited those first six chapters in our book study for June. We're just getting roll in there. Wednesday, we're going to talk about why time is the most valuable commodity. And I think that's that's really an important concept to grasp within the teaching is the things that we do here. Thursday, of course, is ask a job. You can ask me any questions that you want. Friday we've got what is the difference between residual and passive income and why are those things important? Saturday, we're going to talk about systems, time management and focus management. What is the difference there? And then on Sunday, I got a special version for you we're going to talk about out of the Course in Miracles, ACIM. We're going to talk about the holy instant. So we got a really, really packed week for you. In fact, we've got some yellow belt promotions already. We have Dr. Paul Kilgore, Daniel Simon, Johnny Cass, Michael Perkins and Paul Beckham have already finished White Belt way ahead of the game. Hey, congratulations, all five of you. Yellow Belt will be coming this week. Just please be patient with me as I'm putting that together. And we're going to be getting into more systems. But let's get into the day's topic about taking your time back. Congratulations to our new yellow belts. And we're going to get in this show right now. So taking your time back, what does that mean? Well, it means utilizing systems so that we can actually have more time to do the things that we want to do. Right. I don't care if you're a zillionaire. I know that's not a word. We'll use billionaire. Right? You still have responsibilities. We were at the IOC meeting and I was, you know, was hearing about a gentleman that had did all these takeovers and was making billions of dollars and was on an airplane every day. And I was like, I wouldn't want that life. I'd rather have my life than that life. And it was funny because it was kind of like a bucket of cold water, even for me, because here's a person doing all these communication. I mean, literally billion dollar deals flying all over the world, doing these really cool things. But I'm like, I wouldn't want to do that. And and that is the understanding of life that you need to really get to is like, what do you want to do? And that's the clarity factor that, you know, we constantly scream about and why White Belt is so important in our structure, because it's like getting to know you. Once we know you, then we can start to say, OK, what is really important and why are we doing the things we're doing and how do we change the things that we need to change in order for you to have the time and do the things that you want to do. So understanding that is what's so critical. So as we start to do that now, all of a sudden we can start to work systems to get you organized. So you have more time. And again, Wednesday, we're going to get into this depth of time and why it is the most valuable commodity. You know, basically, in a very quick note, I can tell you that why is it the most valuable commodity? Because we don't get any more of it. It's impossible to create more time. Now, when we were talking to Dr. Paul Killgore, who just wanted to yell about, you know, he is a research scientist and there has been some really interesting articles of people living, you know, longer lives. And that's great. Right. But still, it's hard to get time. I mean, we can make more money. We can work on other commodities, but the ones that are restricted specifically time becomes a really more valuable commodity. And we've got to be careful with that and utilize it properly. So how do we do that? First, understanding your systems now again, as we get into the yellow belt and we've got five people going forward with it, as more people start going in there and I finish it, I'm working on this week, it's really about understanding that, you know, what systems are we're using. And a couple of ideas are, you know, for my day to day, I use Apple reminders and notes. I use Google Keep and Google Documents. These are some specific systems that I utilize within our Get It Done Now program to make sure I'm staying on task. The reason I use Apple is because I was using Google keep for everything but the Apple reminders because I use an iPad, a MacBook and my phone, they just work real well. And so all my bill reminders. The things that I need to do, they just pop up, you know, even make a tee time. And so I utilize these systems in a way that allows me to have more time to do the things I want and specifically the mental time. And I think this is one of the critical, critical components of understanding the mental psychology of life. You know, one of the things I'm doing with one of my pro golfers is to make sure at night that he has a notebook by his bed. And so we are having trouble getting him to sleep because he's on his phone, you know, and he's playing on his phone at night. So we're trying to get him to get this stuff off his phone and things that he needs to do and write it down on the notes notepad so he can forget about it at night, realizing that that frontal lobe part of the brain. The issue we have is we can only retain so much information. So if we're laying in bed and we're thinking, I got to do this, I got to do that, you're not going to be able to be as creative and intuitive as you need to be. In fact, you won't get the proper sleep or during the day you're going to be thinking, I need to do this. I need to do that. I got to, you know, speaking event tomorrow. Right. So I got a big one, like a thousand retailers. I'm speaking for my friends Bob and Susan Niek. And at their retail event, it's a virtual event, but it's still a big speaking event. And doing that, I need to make sure that things that I need to talk about are not in my brain. I know that sounds weird, but I want to make sure the scheduling is in place, the Xoom links in place. So I don't have to be thinking, oh, where is that zoom link? And that's why these systems that I talk about, like the CRM and notes and understanding where you put things are so important. It's not so much about the actual physical act of finding it and doing it. It's about getting it out of your mind. A free mind is what allows you to create a free mind, allows you to be clear about what you want to do. So when I say take your time back, not only am I saying that we can take time and we could start to utilize systems to become more efficient, but also also and this is what's so critical, we take our mental capacity back. We take the ability to think and process and do things quicker and faster. And I think we don't talk about that enough here on the show. I think, you know, a lot of people come and they say, oh, gee, we talk about systems and Trello boards and putting it together and you're building all these systems to try to help us create systems. Right. But we don't talk about the underlying principles of the mental aspect of things, the ability to free up your mind, to be able to sleep good, all the keystone habits that as you sleep better and you have a better mental attitude, how that just flows across everything in life. So that's why systems are important. And for me, getting more time back when I'm working with hours, the new I love this new I that I'm working with, it's an artificial intelligence machine learning tool. It's not perfect. It's Jarvis, but man, do I love it. And basically I'm utilizing it to write more. You're going to see me doing more emails, more blog posts. Why? Because I'm using this tool as an assistant and you can find out about that. Just go to morning coach dot com and click the tools and you'll see what I'm using in this conversion I software, which I love it. And it's really changing the way that I'm doing things. And I have a new program called Treant. I used to use it years ago that now takes this and transcribes it, but more importantly, my YouTube videos and then it runs in the family and I could check grammar to check the spelling. So I'm utilizing systems to change my writing processes because as you know, that's a challenge for me. And I'm the first person to tell you, I can do video, I could do audio, I could jump in here and do this stuff. I'd love it. But when it comes to writing, I get stuck. And a lot of that is because of my past. And I've told you that story about, you know, I got held back in third grade and the anguish that that created and a lot of that had to do with writing. And so I had a I'm overcoming that, utilizing software and tools. Now, here's what's really super cool. And I'm going to get into this. So now that I've built these systems and I'm starting to understand that I'm starting to write what are called soapies and soaps, Karen is a big driver of this. Karen is amazing. She's just this wonderful secret woman that we have here who's a genius in e-commerce and does all these other things that you should come and get to know and meet because she's just wonderful. But she's so quiet she'll never come on the show. We're trying to get her to get outside of her world. Right. But, you know, and she comes to the events and, you know, when you come down in October, you're going to meet Karen. But she's just really she's got this down as far as the things that she does, especially with working with others soapies and then international virtual assistants. So now what I'm doing, my next step is to take all these things that I've been doing for years now. Remember, this is years and taking these coach cars and then taking the YouTube videos, being able to put a transcription in them that creates SEO, but more importantly, now taking these systems and bringing it to a VA. So now that I can do it and I can utilize this writing in these tools, I can go to a VA and say, OK, take my YouTube video, take it, take the YouTube video, download the audio, put it in treant, get all the conversation out of it, and then put it in family, make sure it's grammatically OK and then load it back up as subtitles in multiple languages on YouTube. OK, you're hearing how powerful that is. Now let's bring it down. Put the YouTube video up on the on the website, take the treant and gradually go in the eye, take specific pieces of it, have it help you write the blog post for it and then put it up back on the computer on the blog. How cool is that? I mean, and now it's not even me. It's somebody else that I'm helping internationally that wants to do some work, that needs something where they're sitting at home and can do thousands of my podcasts and hundreds of my YouTube videos. And all that just creates a massive spider web of content on Morning Joe Jackson. What it does, obviously, is bring thousands and thousands of people into what we're doing now. I couldn't do that in the past is very challenging because I needed all these specific tools. So right now, what am I doing is I'm working really hard to build the pieces and to understand how to do all this so I could teach somebody else. And here's the secret. And I want you to remember this. It's complicated until it's not. And this is where the breakdown occurs. It's right here. The work level that I'm doing right now, as I'm building yellowbelly, as I've got to go to. Speaking of that, as I'm doing the book study and reading the book and trying to create the content everyday here, I've got to figure out exactly how this works, not only for me, which is great, but also to be able to teach someone else. So it's a lot of work. OK, but here's the deal, it's complicated until it's not meaning, once it's all written, once the soapies are in place, once, once I understand the software, once everything's working, I can handle it off to 10 people. Now, the old adage, I would rather have the one percent of 100 people's efforts than one hundred percent of my own is one of the secrets to life. But a lot of times you need 100 percent of your effort until you can get one percent of 100 people's efforts. And I want you to get that as we start really utilizing the images and we start looking at your life and I'm talking about the book The of Three Entrepreneurs, we start looking at your life, we start looking at your business, and we start analyzing and finding systems that can really make that big difference because it's complicated. Until it's not. We've got to get clear. We got to understand who you are. We got to understand what you want to do. And then we got to build systems to allow you to have the time to do the things that you want to do. This is what we teach. This is what is intelligent life design. Intelligent life design years ago has helped so many people. But the problem is that at one point it started getting pushed into the Internet marketing space. Oh, JB says I don't need to work. No, that is not true. Intelligent life design is not about not working. And what happened is we literally lost a lot of people because I said you got to work and most people don't want to get through the initial part. And that's what drives me absolutely crazy. That's why I'm here to motivate you every day to get you through the first part, to get you through the tough part. And then it's complicated until it's not it just like learning guitar. I'm getting better. I still suck, but I'm getting better. I'm getting better at golf. I'm getting really good at golf. Almost broke 80, gosh dang it, this weekend, so close, 82 and I had two doubles at one in the water accidentally, just a little bit bad swing, but I'm so close to being a really good golfer. But it's like everything in life. And I I'm telling you that the systems that we're building are are done by literally hundreds of people around the world trying these different systems. And here's the key. It has to be unique to you. You just can't go take a course and go, OK, I'm going to do Apple and this and this and this not we have to build it unique to you. And guess what? That takes work. And that's what I'm saying as we get to know you and then we start to put the systems in place, now of a sudden you can live that ILD life. And guess what? That's when you're done at nine o'clock and playing golf every day or doing whatever you want. But everybody's very unique in this structure, and that's what we've got to break it down and we got to understand what we're trying to accomplish and then get into the residual and passive aspects of income, build systems for our health, our fitness, our relationship, anything in that life wheel that we need to work on, find the systems and integrate them in always be learning and understanding new things that can help us in our mission. What we're trying to do now, when somebody else is trying to do what you're trying to do, what I'm trying to do. And that is a very unique thing. And that's what makes it so hard for me with the teachers that are out there today, because a lot of them are trying to shove a cookie cutter thing down somebody's throat and it's not cookie cutter, your life is different than anybody else's. You're not me. You're not Karen. You're not Paul. You're not Johnny. You're not Michael. Well, you may be Karen, Johnny or Michael if you're listening. This is. But you're not me. Right. And we've got to find. What is your mix and so why am I pushing so hard after 15 years to make changes and to put things together for people? Because I understand what people need. Why am I trying to get community? Because I know I don't have all the answers. I got a lot of them, but I don't have all that, all of them. But I can tell you this within this community, after 15 years and thousands of people around the world, we do have the answers. There's enough connection points that somebody will say, hey, I work with Veis internationally. Guess who that is, Karen? Well, that's what I'm looking for. I'm looking for somebody that's not here in the United States, but somebody that takes the podcast that I record that goes up at midnight. That has it ready to go in the morning when I wake up. Well, that can be done in the United States, but guess what? It can be done in the Philippines. Understanding your mission, the direction that you're going, finding the resources and utilizing the right ear, they're right here within the framework of the morning coach community that we built year after year after year after year, we've got some very special people, including you. And so it doesn't matter where you're at in the framework of things. I don't care if you even not even clicked on the white belt, cause the great thing about life is you can start today. And the key is we've got to identify what you want to do, understand who you are. Start building the systems, identify the mission that you're going after, and then start building the resources and systems. To do what? Take your time back the most important commodity so that you can do what you want when you want. That's true freedom. That's living an amazing life. There's no reason you can't do it. We're about creation, taking the mental power back by utilizing systems to allow yourself to think and do the things that you want to do. That's what we're doing here. OK, I'm running over again, as always. But I'm so excited about this. You could tell this is what I'm passionate about, helping you have systems to be able to do what you want when you want. And that's what we're focused on. OK, so let's go out and start this Monday off. Good. Tomorrow, remember, we're doing the math revisited. If you get a chance, grab the book. If not, at least I will go over the six chapters with you and some of the learning lessons out of that. And then we're off to the races on Wednesday and we're talking more about time in the currency and why we're going to do what we're doing and how we're doing it. And as always, you know, jump in in the community. We've got the new Facebook group, Roland. We've got the discussion area. Those are there to help you. I know what we're like at fifteen percent of the people, but it's OK if you are really just getting reengaged. Hey, jump on in. If you just want to do it yourself, that's cool, too. We're here to help you put it in the comments. There's things on the site that you can utilize, the tools. It's all there. It's just a matter of the what? It's complicated. Until it's not, it's going to be a little complicated until we get the structure in place. But then it's not that work is rewarded. Remember, you don't pay the price, OK? They say, oh, you pay the price, you pay the price for success. No, you don't pay the price. You enjoy the price. I'm telling you, you enjoy it. It's a great thing. And that's what I want you to do as you work hard to achieve. All right. I love you. Go have a great one. And we'll be back here tomorrow right here on morning Coach ADCA. [00:00:09][0.0]
