Episode 2910 Garbage In Garbage Out
[00:00:07] Good morning and welcome to Morning Coach today. I am so glad you’re with us. As you know, my name’s J.B. Glossinger, and this is your personal evolution system, the place to get your day started right. Welcome, welcome, welcome. I’m so glad you’re with me today. We’re rockin’ and rollin’ and putting great energy out there. That is what it’s about, and hopefully, you’re enjoying this week, talking about holistic health and really getting ourselves in a place where mentally we just, we just see things differently. We feel a little bit differently. And we just keep going at it. That’s what it’s about. It’s about that great energy here. And super pumped that you’re with me today because I got a good one for you.
[00:00:48] We’re going to talk about garbage in and garbage out. And it’s so critical that we start to understand this concept. I know, it seems so basic, right? It’s like, oh, you’ve heard this before. You know, garbage in/garbage out. We talk about it physically and mentally, but it is a very, very, very, very important concept.
[00:01:07] You know, I was, you know, we’ve got a lot of political stuff happening in this country. We have the North Korea stuff going on, political stuff. I mean, it’s just, I honestly, there’s no other way to say it- it’s just insanity. It’s just insanity. And I was overwhelmed with it all. I don’t care what aisle, what side of the aisle you’re on or what, what you believe in, in this moment, as far as politically. That’s not what we’re here for. We’re, we’re to transcend that. That’s our job.
And I’ve got to be honest. Even me, it’s getting into our football now, which is a place that, you know, was kind of my respite to get away from the political stuff. And, you know, it, just kind of enjoy watching something differently. And I mean, it’s everywhere. It’s everywhere. I mean, you talk about garbage in! I mean, it’s just going on like crazy. And so, you’ve got to be very cautious of what sources of information that you’re getting the things that are coming into your life.
[00:02:01] So, for me, this week, specifically, I really have made it more of a commitment to my spiritual practices and my spiritual studies. I just am finding some, you know, I, just to, just to kind of use a Star Wars reference, kind of disruption in the Force. I mean, it really feels chaotic. People feel uneasy. It’s just a weird time. It really is. And so, we’ve got to be very cautious with ourselves to protect our mental kingdom. If you think about it, we have that, you know, we have that castle, and that’s our kingdom. It’s our mentality. We’ve got to be careful really getting involved psychologically in these areas. It’s so easy for us to become overwhelmed with this stuff.
[00:02:39] Let me, let me just talk about, a little bit about some of the old brainwashing techniques. OK? You’ve heard me talk about this before, but I want to reiterate this because it’s really a garbage in/garbage out situation. Back in the day in the Vietnam War, they used to take U.S. soldiers, and they would put them in the- altogether, right?- in the compound. And then they would slowly take them out, one, you know, one out of the group at a time. And then, over time, work, work with them to kind of break them down.
[00:03:06] This is what they’d do. So, everybody, just picture this, everybody’s in the prison camp, right? Now, they would take somebody out of the prison camp, one person, and we’ll call him Steve. The guards would pull out Steve and isolate him. Steve would sit down and say name, rank, serial number. And, you know, the rest of the group would go, “oh man, I hope Steve’s OK. I wonder if they’re torturing him. I wonder if they’re peeling his fingernails back.” You know, whatever they’re doing that’s just nasty. That’s all they’re thinking about.
[00:03:31] But what they’re doing is, they’re actually not being that bad with him. He’s saying name, rank, serial number, and they’re coming in and saying, “Hey, would you like some food? Here’s some food.” And this is over weeks, you know. “Here’s a pack of cigarettes.” “Hey, by the way, did you know the Yankees won the World Series?” You know, “This is going on in Chicago.” And they would just keep kind of talking to him until finally he would open up and he would say, “Wow, thank you for that,” because he’s so isolated that he just wants to communicate.
So, it’d be, “Steve?” “Yeah?” and, you know, “By the way, did you know there’s poverty in the United States?” and Steve would say, “Yeah, you know, I think we do have some poverty in the United States.” “Do you know if there’s some hunger in the United States?” “You know, there is some hunger. We try to do our best.” And Steve would answer these questions and, you know, work with them.
[00:04:13] Again, this is over weeks and weeks of time, just constantly, slowly, getting him, discussing with him and getting to open up a little bit. Finally, they would say, “Steve, by the way, did you know that, you know, we have hunger, too? We have poverty in our society, too? And we’re just regular people. You know, we’re just regular people here trying to make a living.” And, and finally, Steve would say, “You know what? Yeah, you’re right. You know, we have hunger and poverty. You know, we’ve got a lot of people just trying to make a living.
And they would say, “Don’t you see this war, you know, it’s kind of unjust? It doesn’t make sense for us to be fighting.” And Steve would finally say, “You know what? You’re right.” You know, and he’d say, “OK, I’ll sign that paper,” that the war doesn’t, you know, isn’t supposed to be going in this direction, and he would sign the paper. OK? And immediately, as soon as he had signed that paper, they’d say, “Good.” They would talk to him a little bit. But then, they would say, “OK, we’re going to put you back with the population.
[00:05:04] So, all these guys and women and whoever was- it was mostly guys obviously back then- were worried about Steve’s safety. Right? And so, they would put Steve back in the, back in the, into the population. Right? So, Steve would go back into the population. So, they’d be like, “Hey, Steve, we’re so glad you’re back!”. All of his buddies, everybody coming up, even, you know, they’re all just in very desperate and dire straits, but they were happy to see Steve.
As soon as they put him back in, and just, they’d let them congratulate him a little bit, and then they would announce over the loudspeaker that Steve has denounced the war. Immediately everybody would be in shock, “Wow, Steve, I can’t believe you of all people, why would you denounce the war? I can’t believe it.” Then the other guy would say, “Wow, you know, Steve what happened in there? Did they torture you?”
[00:05:52] And Steve would say this, and this is the key, “No, they didn’t torture me. You know, they’re people, just like us. There are people that are starving; people that are hungry. These people have issues they are also dealing with. That’s, that’s what’s going on here.” And he would defend his signing of that paper. He would defend that aspect of poverty, of issues that they’re having, and say, “No, you know what? No.” And he would defend. Now, here’s the key thing. As soon as he would defend that position- and he had to defend it because he signed the paper saying it- as soon as he’d defend it, Right? As soon as he defended it, he was on their side. They accomplished their mission and brainwashed him, right? The guards had Steve on their side.
[00:06:36] And so, with all of this stuff going on out there, the polarization, you have to understand why they’re doing it. They’re polarizing us. They’re, they’re trying to get us to take sides. Because as soon as you take sides and you have to defend your position- and I see it everyday on Facebook. Right? You’re defending your position- you’re no longer open to different ideas. You are no longer open to different thought processes. It’s like you are closed off. You’re in a group. Right? They’ve, they’ve got you in a group. And it’s the exact opposite that I want to do here at Morning Coach. You know, when I study cults and I study various religious ideas, I study Scientology, I look at why people join grassroots political movements, this is the reason. This is the reason that people are getting brainwashed.
[00:07:21] Now, you may say, “J.B., but I’m not. I am not. It’s the issues I am fighting for.” Well, you could be right, but the truth is, what really, what really are you doing? Are you being part of the problem and are you really solving an issue? Are you jumping on one of these sides, and, all of a sudden, closing yourself and feeling hatred and anger and frustration and separation? Because if you are, they are accomplishing what they are wanting to do, and that’s to get you to take a side. Right?
And regardless of what you think about President Trump and what he’s doing, right, he’s great at this. He’s a master at manipulating this idea of polarization, and it’s just marketing. This is just marketing, is all it is. It’s polarization, and it’s getting people to say, “Gosh, you’re destroying the country,” or “I’m going to protest,” or “I’m going to do that,” or “I’m going to take this side,” or “You’re right,” or “You’re wrong.” And it’s polarization. It’s garbage in.
[00:08:23] And we have to be able to rise above it, and it’s tough. It’s tough because you’re emotionally charged with these issues. You’re emotionally charged with the things that are going on. But it’s taking you away from your peace, your joy, and your happiness, and more importantly, it’s taking you away from actually having an impact because, as you get more emotional, as you get more angry, as you get more frustrated, as you post some more stuff on Facebook and you like or dislike or whatever you do, you’re getting more intertwined into it. You’re getting more wrapped up into it.
[00:08:53] So, the question becomes how do you lead? How do you make a difference out there? Well, you vote for different people. We get different people in office. We go out there, and we get different people involved. And we, we, you share this voice of consciousness, instead of lower consciousness, separation. It doesn’t work. If you really want to make a difference, get people to go along with you.
And by leadership, by showing them a different way. By creating alienation and by just getting with your core tribe, right, you’re not going to influence anybody. It’s like trying to get somebody to join a religion, and you’ve had it happen to you, I’m sure, right? Somebody comes to you. They’ve drank the Kool-Aid. They’re into it. They want to pull you into their life, and they’re already; they have a different viewpoint on things so you’re just pushing them away.
[00:09:40] That’s what’s happening in our society today. It’s garbage in/garbage out. I’ve never seen it as bad as it is. Well, part of the reason it’s as bad as it is is because our leadership is using it as a tool to create polarization. Even though it’s always been around, now, with social media, it’s even more prevalent. And basically, they know that if they can get you to take their side or to argue against them, they have created this kind of brainwashed society that we live in. And you can see it. It’s prevalent everywhere. And people, I think a lot of people don’t even know what they’re fighting for. Right? A lot of people don’t even know what they’re fighting for. They’re just joining a team based on hatred.
[00:10:16] And if you don’t think that people know what they’re doing, then you’re, you’re, you’re getting caught up in it for no reason. It’s kind of like… Brian Bodsworth was a football player. And this is just a really kind of… And what I want to say, people just didn’t… he was just flamboyant, right? So, he created this… People loved him if he was on your team and hated him if you’re on the other team. So, he went to the Seattle Seahawks, and he went to play against my beloved Raiders. Right?
And he went to go play against the Raiders. And when he went to play against the Raiders and he was with the Seahawks, in the Raiders stadium they were selling T-shirts. OK? That says “Down with the Boz” because that’s what they called him, Boz. And they had his picture with a big red circle on it and a big line through it, right? And they were selling them outside the stadium for $20 apiece, and they were selling like hotcakes. Everybody’s buying them. In fact, when you went in the stadium, you could see everybody wearing these white t-shirts with the Boz with the circle and the line through it. Right?
[00:11:15] And so, everybody is high-fiving, you know, “Hey, I see you got the t-shirt! You hate to Boz. I hate the Boz, too!” Right? And so, everybody had these t-shirts on. So, they’re going through the game, going through the game. And then about about the third quarter, which is about the end of the football game, people started to realize and the word started getting out that guess who was selling those T-shirts? Guess? Bosworth was selling those T-shirts. So, people started taking them off, and they were so angry! They had given the money to Bosworth.
[00:11:51] Can you see how relevant this is? I mean, so many of us are getting so intertwined in all this noise. And is it really doing anything? We’re giving money to Bosworth. We’re giving money to the person that we’re trying to go against, whatever side you’re on. Again, this is nonpolitical here. I’m not trying to have you take sides. I’m trying to elevate you above it, so you can see the manipulation that’s occurring on both sides.
This is the general way things work. It’s the political science way to get people to take on a movement. Right? This is what Tribe Building 101 is, was about. Create polarization, so people get frustrated, and people defend their position, and people get out there on their social, and they jump up and down, and yell and scream. That’s exactly what’s going on here. Polarization of the population. And it’s scary. It’s hard not to get involved in it.
[00:12:45] So, how do you break away from it? By opening your mind. Recognize what’s going on. Question your beliefs. You question when you go to write that post on Facebook- and believe me, I had to do it a bunch lately. I’ve actually deleted posts because I’m like, “Wait, do I really believe this? Am I really frustrated by this? Or is this a ploy to get me to go on one side or the other?” Right? And I’m starting to see it at a high level. And so, we’ve got to break away from that, from from being connected to that, that is zapping our energy, zapping our lives, zapping our days.
It’s so critical that we break away from that. So critical, because if you break away from that, then you can have freedom to develop things that are going to help you grow, that are going to help you move forward and help real, the real society that’s out there. Not this fictitious, egoic manifestation that’s going on right now. And again, I know it’s, it’s, it’s tough, but you got to watch what’s coming in and what’s going out.
[00:13:44] That’s why Morning Coach is so important because you’re going to get a different mindset from me than you get from anybody else. It’s why I can live a life of freedom and joy and prosperity, is because I think differently than everybody else. I’m not so caught up in this system, even if it drags me in once in a while, that I have to live with it. I mean, my worst case scenario is I go to the mountains of Colombia, and I go have fun there, you know? And that’s just… I find peace in that, but that’s not what I’m going to do because I’ve been put on this planet to bring joy and happiness and love and a deeper understanding of what’s happening out there. Right?
[00:14:20] We’ve got to transcend this. We’ve got to celebrate Karen just finishing her triathlon. Not getting caught up in everything, but just going out there, and doing it, and finishing it. She did a great job. We got to celebrate everybody that’s doing wonderful things. As I brought up Annabel so much. You know, there’s so many people doing great things out there. Jenny, over in Europe, Bishop doing her music. I mean, we got to come together as real people and transcend all this B.S. as these politicians create this noise and try to get you on their team using these techniques of polarization.
[00:14:53] So to conclude, I apologize. I got on my soapbox today, but it bothers me. It really does. And we’ve got to come together to end this noise, and the way that we do it? How do we control politics? How do we make a difference? By amount of people. By getting people together. The more people we get together, the better off we do. Right? And so, that’s my mission. That’s my mission now, to really make that change, to get out there and do that. And we’re going to do that this week by getting M/M going next week. I’ve got some real surprises with that. Changing our mindset, becoming a little bit more spiritual, and being aware of the garbage.
[00:15:30] That’s what I want you to be aware of. And not getting so entrapped in it. We all do, but try to step back of it. And question your beliefs, and open your mind. And recognize, am, am I kind of getting in this? Is, I mean, am I getting angry? Am I getting frustrated? Are they, you know- and remember the Bosworth story- man, because there’s a lot of Bosworths in the political world right now. I mean, they’ve figured this stuff out, and we’ve got to watch becoming kind of the sheep of their herd. We don’t want to be anybody’s sheep. We want to create our own herd, and that’s what we’re doing here at Morning Coach. OK?
[00:16:01] So, I love you. Let’s get out there and have a great day. It’s time that we open our minds. Let’s bring good energy, and let’s keep flowing because that’s what it’s about. All right? So, again, like I said, I’ve got some big updates coming on M/M. We’re launching it October 2nd. Keep an eye out for your e-mail, and keep an eye out for everything that’s going on. Because I got a lot going on, because we’ve got changes to make in this world, and we’re going to do it together. OK? So, I love you, Get out there. Have a great day. Aan I will be back with more right here tomorrow morning at morningcoach.com.
